And, after death, this phase difference

is reversed.

P becomes the discontinuous phase in Q.

Then, in that kind of there, we human live Things become

like first live Things,

but special, because physicality’s

an essential, but no longer determining factor

in what’s been called the “spiritual body”.

And that

works out so that

from one live Thing

we can move

by instant inherence or co-inherence

into an other—

distance and duration will have become but

optional colors in our pallet.

Then, too, we cannot hide or hide from

our living memory—

each deed we’ve done or suffered,

we’ll see crisp and clear,

with Sweet Reason’s eyes

and most firm Hand

to rejoice and to lament

the substances of our earthly relationships.
